Bed Bug Removal in Michigan
The Pronto Pest Proactive Bed Bug Removal Plan
Pronto Pest Management’s bed bug removal in Michigan consists of a three-phase plan built on four decades of hands-on experience removing bed bugs from properties. Our Proactive Bed Bug Removal Plan resolves moderate to severe infestations for single-family homes, apartment complexes, and multi-unit facilities alike. The process follows three phases: inspection, removal, and prevention.
Our 3-Phase Approach
Phase 1: Bed Bug Inspection
Every effective bed bug removal plan starts with a thorough inspection. We send a certified Scent Detection Canine Team to your property to check for live bed bug activity and viable eggs.
When live activity is detected, treatment moves into Phase 2.
Phase 2: Bed Bug Removal
Pronto Pest Management uses three treatment methods to eliminate bed bugs, applied individually or together depending on the severity of the infestation.
Chemical Treatment
Pronto Pest Management uses chemical treatments proven effective against bed bugs, with customer and pet safety as a top priority. The products are odorless and, once dry, pose no harm to people or pets.
Steam Treatment
Bed bugs die in under 60 seconds at temperatures of 120 degrees Fahrenheit and above. At just two degrees lower, 118 degrees, the process takes more than 90 minutes, showing how quickly effectiveness drops as temperature falls. Pronto Pest Management uses professional portable steamers operating at 270 to 280 degrees to eliminate bed bugs on contact.
Thermal Remediation
Pronto Pest Management uses the Temp-Air heating system, a heat treatment platform built specifically for bed bug removal. Large heaters raise the temperature throughout the property in a controlled, gradual process, heating the entire structure to eliminate live bed bugs and viable eggs in a single treatment.
Phase 3: Bed Bug Prevention
Treatment is complete once no live bed bug activity or bites are reported. A follow-up inspection with our scent detection canine team confirms the property is fully clear before we close out the case. Live activity found during re-inspection means treatment continues until the infestation is fully resolved.
Owners of Multiple Dwelling Facilities
For multi-unit facilities to stay ahead of infestations, regular inspections should be part of any bed bug prevention plan. Tenant complaints about bites are often the first sign of a developing infestation and should not be dismissed. Addressing the problem early, while activity is still limited, is far simpler and less costly than treating a full-scale infestation later.
Call Pronto Pest Management and ask about our quarterly inspection program, designed to catch bed bug activity before it becomes a full infestation.
